Is there any way we can get away from the stinky MacLike waiting cursor? I know this seems trivial, but do we really want our operating system 'trying' to be like something else?
I really think it would be nice to have the default Ubuntu circle of people (like the titlebar above) rotate in an opaque to white cycle for the wait icon (much like the Crapintosh default).

I haven't seen any theme exactly like that, but I think here's a cursor theme you might like: http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php?content=19506
It does have a rotating Ubuntu Circle.Take a look at the second picture :)

BINGO! That's exactly what I mean. In fact, this seems so appropriate I wonder what the odds are of integrating it into Ubuntu as the default cursor theme. They are clean and simple I might add.
Doesn't this seem to make sense to anyone other than myself?

PS: Apple does suck. I lived through the Apple dynasty. Believe me, if we lived in an Apple world we would all be crying. You would need to plug your Apple(TM) computer into an Apple(TM) wall socket that supplies power from the Apple(TM) power plant. Of course, you would also need to change all the plugs in your house to Apple(TM) power-outlets. Before you can do that of course, you would need Apple(TM) screws to attach them to the Apple(TM) plug plates. Etc etc etc... F*Apple(TM) that.

I'd also like to see this as Ubuntu's default cursor theme. It's the best one I've ever seen. It's simple, cool and fits very nicely with any theme. I also love the little earth in link cursor :)
Even if it doesn't become ubuntu's default, I'll sure put it into every Ubuntu system I install..

I personally like the rotating Ubuntu part, but the rest of it doesn't feel right. I prefer the default Human cursor in all other respects, maybe because it feels more professional (also, it's smaller, so it's not as distracting).

This looks too cartoony. Ubuntu's current default is a lot better.
