america's army

hey i downloaded and install america's army but it hangs after i selest training. anyone installed it on breexy before? what steps did you take?

I had a similar problem once with AA. Try running americasarmy at the command line with sudo

sudo <whatever americasarmy is called>

ok tried sudo, edited some stuff, but now it hangs and crashes, instead of just hanging like b4. I dunno what could be wrong

whats the specs of your machine?

AA is pretty heavy to run!!

i have a dell inspiron laptop 5100, radeon 7500 vid card, 2.66ghz p4. kernel for 686, and 512mb of ram

I have the 686 kernel

you have the 64-bit kernel?

is your processor 64-bit?

isnt 586 for processors up to p3, and 686 for p4, and dont the 64bit machines have a different kernel? thats what i understand. No my processor is not 64bit
