When I open a folder, how can I change the background color from the default white to something else? I would like all of my finder windows and folders to have the same default color. I am able to do this in OS X. I'm sure there must be a way to do this in Ubuntu 8.04.

Thanks!!!

Open the folder

Click from the top menu Edit

Then select Backgrounds and Emblems

Should be self explanatory from there

also keep in mind that setting the background color when using Browser mode sets the default color for all directories, while doing the same when in Spatial mode sets the background for current directory only..
