Netatalk problem, no ssl support?

Hi,

I am aware that no system ships with Netatalk and ssl support in one package, but I followed a tone of instructions on the web and nothing I compile will enable ssl support. How can I do this?

My setup is:
- Leopard boxes
- Ubuntu 8.04 Edubuntu where I want to install Netatalk.
- Two ethernet cards, and yes, I have tried the fix for that, so that isn't my problem

Hi,

I installed Netatalk from source with the ssl option set. It didn't work. I mean, the ssl part of it didn't. I read both the links in the previous post, and the first I didn't understand and the second seemed out of date.

Hi,

Well maybe it isn't as out of date as I thought, but still I don't see the mention of Leopard anywhaere and that is what I am using.

Besides, it doesn't really say how to install netatalk on Ubuntu with ssl, but I will have to look closer to see if ther is anything I can use, because the poster must have put it up for a reason, it is just decripting the reeson that is the key.
