Good Morning All,

As you can tell by my post count im a nub but thats alright im learning slowly but surely. I am trying to install Ubuntu onto my personal machine but I am having problems due to my RAID setup.

Currently I am running this Hardware:

Pentium Core 2 Quad 9450
nForce 750i SLI
4 GB 800mhz RAM
9600 GT 512 RAM
800 Watt Power Supply
IDE DVD R\W
Blue Ray Rom Drive

3 500GB Seagate HD running RAID 5 with 2 Windows Partition
1 160GB Seagate HD 80GB OSX Hackintosh / 80 GB Ubuntu Linux

I have, after alot of work have been able to install linux and OSX 10.5.2 onto the same HD and dual boot via GRUB. The problem I am having is that my Linux partition will not see the RAID setup but rather the each individual HD.

I have searched the forums and heard about dmraid but I have not been able to set this up via my live CD because my network card drivers wont work. I have heard of some workarounds but none have seemed to work for me.

Any thoughts are very appreciated
