I decided to change my mobo to Nvidia. Is there a graphics advantage using Nvidia mobo?(increase in graphics performance)

Nvidia has much better support than ATI, and in my opinion makes better gpu's.... you'll find it looks smoother and works better with compiz too...imo...

plus from what i hear nvidia is very simply installed and has less bugs.

Though nVidia cards I find are much better for using in Linux, your original question about an nVidia mobo making your graphics better is kind of a yes and a no... If you're using an onboard video card, probably not... If you're using your old video card, it's probably just as good. There may be some small things here and there, but I'm not sure if they'd be noticable.
