Local wireless printer access??

In windows a method to access my college's printers on their wireless was to goto run and type in "\\059netcdc1\" and it would bring up a window with their printers (after signing in of course) so i was wondering how would i do that in Ubuntu (if at all possible)??

Have you tried System-->Administration-->Printing and tried Windows printer connected via smb? I don't remember the exact wording as the setup has changed between Hardy and Intrepid. In the browse window type the path that you typed in widows using the regular slashes instead of the back slashes as in Windows.
