Hello

I recently got my computer working just as I want it to. It has been fine for about two weeks. I set up Gnome nicely while using Emerald to manager the windows. I use an AWN dock and Tilda to add a terminal on the desktop not to mention Compiz for some desktop effects.

Everything was going great until about 2 days ago. I use XFCE as well and I would go to change sessions after logging out of gnome and it kills X. X comes back but it can take up to a minute. If I log back into Gnome however, Tilda doesn't "sit" right, meaning, it will have a "dropcast" shadow, almost as if it were in a window. Sometimes it doesn't start up at all.

Sometimes, when logging back into Gnome, the AWN dock will appear at the top of the screen instead at the bottom for a moment as it "slides" in. The dropcast effect if you will from Tilda will occur sometimes then as well.

Any help would be very nice.
