I got a new 8gb Kingston micro sdhc memory card for my Palm Centro PDA phone and the phone formatted it as 1gb instead of 8gb. Is there any way to fix this in Ubuntu? Please help. Thanks, Mike

I haven't much luck formating Micro SD's, but you could try gparted.
It should be located in System.

Your phone may not be able to read SDHC cards, and thus only read up to 1 GB.

No luck. Run the numbers through Kingston and they said none of them match their production numbers except the one on the back and it shows to be 1gb. So, I got scammed on eBay. Trying to get a refund now.
