AWN Problems

Hi I'm running Intrepid Ibis with compiz-fusion and I'm having horrendous problems with AWN. I was using the BZR version, but I had problems with my compiz which in turn screwed AWN. Now I've got the compiz sorted I can't get any launchers to appear on AWN.

I uninstalled it and re-installed the version in the repositories but it still has the same problem.

Also if I use the desktop switcher it changes desktop but strips AWN off all the desktops.

I've re-installed twice now (rebooting each time) but to no avail.

Can anyone point me in the right direction.
