Hello!
I just installed OpenGEU via packages. I have used it before, on a 32-bit machine, and it worked well. So, after I installed a 64-bit Ubuntu on a 64-bit machine, I decided to give the new OpenGEU luna crescente beta a try, using packages. I used this wiki as instruction:
http://opengeuwiki-en.intilinux.com/index.php?title=How_to_install_OpenGEU_8.04_Beta_v ersion_from_packages
using the greenie.sk repos. I installed both enlightenment and entrance, but whenever I try to start one of them, my XServer crashes. And crashes. And crashes (especially annoying when entrance crashes, for I have to wait to disable it until ubuntu decides not giving it another try) Same thing, when I start gdm and then login to an E17-Session. X crashes.
A few days ago, I tried Enlightenment (without the OpenGEU-part), using different repos (the dunnewind (?) ones). There, everything worked fine. Except the more important parts of Gnome - which for I really would like OpenGEU to work.
Thanks in advance for any help :-)
