hey eveyone... just wanted to know what youu install Ubuntu MID on and how do to so.

Good question. Is this appropriate for netbooks like the EEE etc, or should one rather use the full 8.10 install for that? Claims it's optimised for touchscreen devices, which makes me think the latter...

I also was curious about Ubuntu MID, so I downloaded the .iso, used Unetbootin to copy it onto a USB flash drive, and booted my eee 900ha from it in Live mode. The experiment lasted about 5 minutes... try it for yourself and you will see. :)

ps I personally recommend Ubuntu or one of its variants (Crunchbang is my current favorite) on the eee, with the custom kernel from array.org to get the wireless working.
