Installed Alienarena2006 Not working...

Hi i have installed Alien arena using this command

sh alienarena-2006-x86.run in the terminal obviously my working drive was desktop where the folder is...

Install went without a problem, i can even use the GUI to go through various setups beforre starting a game... BUT then when i click play the screen goes blank, and when it comes back it is in totally wrong resolution, and my mouse has stoped working so i do Ctrl+Alt+(+) to change back to my normal resolution, that works fine but i cant use my mouse... i can use everything all my Keyboard shortcuts but not the mouse... on the terminal i get an error message about IO wich i guess is Input Output...

Anybody have an idea of went went wrong... ??

i get the exact same problem, searched online but couldn't really find a solution

Ok not a problem i dont really need to play that game...!! LOL

Does anyone know how to remove it??

Try:


sudo /usr/local/games/alienarena2006/uninstall


It worked with me!
