Hi,

the wiki is very useful if you know specific pages (ie: WPAHowto), but is there any start-page that points to all these?

The default wiki start page doesn't help me (maybe I've missed something there) - it just points to other community sites.

Most people start from the Wiki User Documentation (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UserDocumentation) page.

Did someone change something? An hour ago the start page was something entirely different...

We have no control over the Official Wiki - you will need to contact the people in charge in order to have your questions answered in an Official Capacity.

The start page (wiki.ubuntu.com) that I just visited a minute ago is the one that has always been there. The "Documentatino on the wiki" link points to the UserDocumentation page, as usual.

Well, you can edit pages just like anyone else. Anyone can. That should be pointed out more often.

Available to edit any unlocked pages, yes - but that is not the question.

As far as us, as the Ubuntu Forums, being able to answer any questions as to why Official Wiki pages have been edited, we cannot - because we have no control over what/when/why/how in any Official capacity of the Wiki.

Correct. The question was "Where is the documentation?" And that was answered by someone else pointing out the UserDocumentation link on the front page.

Your statement about the wiki (although factually correct) was misleading in that it implied there was something wrong with the wiki.

That's all.

Every single page on the wiki @ubuntu.com can be edited, including the FrontPage. However, it is probably a good idea to familiarise yourself with how the wiki works before editing major pages such as that.

For finding documentation, the first link on the frontpage is to the documentation. That should help. You can also use the search in the top right hand corner of the page.
