I made this website for a christian school and I wanted to know you opinions for it. Most of it is dead links and I already lost the password for the forums because I typed the wrong one in but this is a temp host so I have to redo mysql anyways. My bad forgot the link = )

Kind regards MikeDK

Since Feisty's support (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=947232)is expiring 19 October 2008, it would be advisable for you to update to either Hardy Heron or Intrepid Ibex (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=947232).

your website: Constructively speaking, the graphic may need some touch-up. Make it look sharper, clean up the jagged lines. Use something like a vector graphic to achieve this, then raster it to a png, without the animation (of course it all depends on the style you want).
As for the general feel of the website...its okay. The links should be separated from the main title. But its hard to give feedback when the first page is just a graphic intro. when you build at least the about or contact page, let us know.

for vector graphics you can use inkscape (free) in Linux or Corel Draw, Adobe Flash, or Illustrator (not-free) in windows. Dunno any mac software for that.

Ok thanks I was working with GIMP and Paint.net but I changed up the website a little because I removed the middle head thing that was flashing but I put a cross to emphasis the christian school. Im going to change it up more because all the files are on the main directory of the server

content generation isint really easy (in fact thats hardest for me). Like what to write, where to put it, what pictures to put, etc.

As for design, i still wanna see if you're goign to give it a little structure. What color is the bg text gonna be, the fg text, the width, etc. Just to see how pleasing it will be to the eye.

Anyway, its nice to post a link to it once in a while, so ppls, dont have to scroll to the top to get it (your you can put it in the title)

what does this mean

http://ssls.byethost2.com

so people can access it, without scrolling to the top all the time. Just once in a while, whenever you post (not every post) paste the address.
