AMD64 Breezy's doing almost everything I'm asking it to do, except that it isn't coping with my old printer, an HP LaserJet4ML. Garbage symbols are printed on the top line of a sheet when I send jobs to the printer. (Breezy worked fine with a new HP LaserJet 1200.)

If I should script a replacement for 'lpr', what should be in it? Is there some magic syntax that should be put in the 'properties' for printing from Firefox?

Thanks, sorry to be a maroon,

Well, just from experience- possibly a driver problem? I'd try a couple of different drivers - see what happens.
