This only happens when I'm playing video. When playing 3d accelerated game it's OK. Same thing happens hen using Debian Etch and Lenny. totem lagged fiercely while VLC still can play with skipped frames around 3-5 minutes interval.
PC spec:
Ubuntu 8.04, Pentium D 2.6 GHz, 3 GB RAM, Nvidia 7600 GS.
