The system beep works just fine even though I removed the pcspkr module. I put custom sounds as the different system sounds; trash, log on, log off, etc.
However, these are not playing, nor are any of the others. Anyone else experiencing this problem? I know that my canberra-gtk-play is constantly crashing. Would this have anything to do with it?
