View Full Version : [ubuntu] Installing ndiswrapper / ndisgtk

Hey everyone.

So I am new here and kinda of lazy I am going to be honest I tried searching minmally but could find an answer. So maybe you guys can help

So I have a fresh install of ubuntu installed on my macbook and I dont have internet nor can I connect it to a hardware because the ethernet port is dead. So My wireless i am trying to get working but I cant get this ndiswrapper thing to work or what not I installed it then it says somthing about ndisgtk

Any help? I am using a macbook the white one

Please use the information in the "Before You Post" link to properly identify which Mac you have.

Also, if you have a broadcom card (which is what you normally use ndiswrapper for) then You might be better off installing Intrepid at the end of the month which has the wl driver for Broadcom cards.

I am not sure if its a broadcom card or not..

it's a macbook the white one it's intel based I believe
