Warcraft 3 pickup listchecker

Try as i might PLC will run under wine but wont ping. The commands to host games work just fine but what i really need it to do is get it pinging. I've banged my head up against the Google but i can't find anything. Do the pinging/checking functions depend on winpcap? I don't think they do, or at least the /pingclients entry at http://bonta.kun.free.fr/listchecker/ doesn't state so. Has anyone here got this working? Does anyone have a good alternative?

FYI Wc3 runs perfect for me under wine i can host/join b.net games just fine so i dont think its a wc3 issue...

I would suggest checking into Snoopy (http://snoopy.tuxfamily.org/) It's a hosting utility for linux users that can ping, kick, ban, and do some other useful things as well. It should run alongside listchecker just fine.

On a side note: On a clean install of Ubuntu Intrepid with a clean install of WINE and warcraft 3 copied from windows, I can't get my warcraft to run correctly in direct 3d (it doesn't go fullscreen right, the panels still show up) so I have to use opengl. When I use opengl and try to open listchecker it makes my warcraft have graphical errors. Did you experience and fix any of these types of problems or did things just work for you?

Lc works on my Debian Lenny, but crashes sometimes while I'm pinging.
So I tried the snoopy tool. It works - but ingame commands don't work with List Checker (without - they work fine). Also no command in "Wait-Screen" does work.
The Ban command also don't work in the console, but neither banning nor kicking :(.
but finally I got a fix for my every1 is kicked LC-Prob :D.
