my wife is running an old apple g3 and somehow the entire system is trashed, there is unaccountable file space apparently being occupied on the hard drive, it seems someone had just deleted some of the software so when you try to run it you get a loading icon then nothing when the computer shows the program is there yet when you check the folder for the software it is empty. my question is, is there some sort of system recovery for the older mac os x systems or any tool or utlity to where you can run a system clean up?
