Hi
I used truecrypt with the previous kernel 2.6.12.9 without any problems. Now I should install it on the new kernel and it complains that I need the kernel 2.6.12.9, I reboot with this kernel and can install it. When I am back in the new kernel I cannot run the SW. So how to do this the easy way, I have the source code but still need the 2.6.12.9 to compile, and even thought truecrypt is said to run with kernel >2.6.5

- Linux kernel version 2.6.5 or any higher/compatible version"
I really do not want to mess up my system and since I am a beginner I need a simple how to.
Or is it just to follow this steps:

I hope I could download the kernel image and point to it from truecrypt installation or use the kernel that is already on disk.
BTW truecrypt is a great piece of software I used for years in windows, if you need to read encrypted data from both windows and Linux you should try it.

I tried to compile my own kernel and no big deal so now I have 4.1
Thank you in advance.
