Hi,
I have done scans on my Xp computer. The following files had been flaged as threats.
I did online virus scans and each file had both fake alerts and threat alerts.
Can anyone shed any light on whether the following files are safe?

activex helper 1.11
asterix 1.02
cain and able 4.9
cryptload 1.1.4
dshutdown 1.72
Enable Disable Safe Mode from www.shockingsoft.com
karens print directory
keyfinder 1.51
wireless keyview

Thanks.

password finders, key finders, and such recovery type apps will always show as spyware (that's their purpose!),

the other apps, i would google if they don't belong to the above category,

Yes, came up as clean. Spyware terminator and Avira flagged some of them.

I will take it that all the above programs I mentioned are safe.
