hangs on hardware drivers

Hi guys. I own a Samsung Q310 with Intrepid Beta installed. when I boot without "quiet" and "splash" everything is fine. But when I booth with those. The system hangs at the "hardware drivers" stage right at the start... any ideas?

usplash has been a problem on some boxes , leave it and quiet off your boot line for now .
