Hi I'm using SCIM for Chinese character input and I'm wondering if there is any way to make the characters bigger as I type because for example when I want to type a character a list of characters show up and I have to go all the way up to the screen to see the character. =/ Also, is there anything better than SCIM for Chinese pinyin input? such as Sogou or Google Pinyin? Thanks

Hello :)

Go to System->Preferences->SCIM Setup. A window will open, expand the "Panel" entry, you will find an entry called "GTK". Higlight it. At the right of the window there should be a button named "Font" that allows you to change font type and size.

I have always been using SCIM and I'm very happy with it, so unfortunately I don't know of any alternatives to recommend...

Good luck :KS
