8.10, Beta no Keyboard or Mouse at boot

Hi when I get to Boot/splash screen I lose keyboard and Mouse access, both work fine at grub menu, or when booted from Live Cd (unless I try an re-install), sometimes on boot i get a RED screen with Vertical lines coming down from top...

all worked ok, before I shut it down for 4 days, got home and now no way to login
