I am using Interpid on an acer one netbook - however many of the windows are too large to work with - the dialogue buttons are off the bottom of the page and I am unable to access them. This also means I cannot resize them to make them smaller because I cannot access the bottom right-hand corner....
Suggestions?

Could this be a screen resolution problem? Maybe a smaller, or larger one would help?
System->Preferences->Screen Resolution

It isn't, since this particular subnotebook resolution is 1024x600
and many apps has difficulties in scaling the proper size.
Press "Alt+Left Mouse button" and you can drag the window where you want it to close it.

I experienced the problem as well on a normal notebook on the live CD. Running 1280x800 though.
Noticed it in Firefox specifically.

Hold the left alt key, then click and drag anywhere within the desired window to move it.

Thanks - that works because I can just about see the buttons.
