I've been running Gentoo on a G4-733 for 18 months, but am up for something new...except that I can't get any of Fedora 9, 10 beta or Hardy going...live CDs get me as far as yaboot, I try video=ofonly...and then black screens follow. I am also having xorg issues in Gentoo, after latest update...but all I have is a standard old Mac 17" flat-panel, same as the machine shipped with in the first place, years ago...no mods at all, just extra RAM and a second HD. Any thoughts?
