Ok, I am sure a few of these Nostromo N52 posts have been made, but I don't have the same question (bet you have heard that one before.)

I actually got the Nostromo configurer to work. I even got the Nostromo Daemon to work and it now starts up with my Linux, so no problems there.

My problem is that I configure the Nostromo to spam my buttons. Let me explain in detail.

In my game I use buttons 1 through 9 and F1 through F12... along with a few other keys such as arrow keys. I have the Nostromo spam this key every 100 ms as long as I have the button held down.

Now over half the time this works flawlessly and when I release the key, it stops spamming. But occasionally when am using my Nostromo, moving, clicking, shift-state (red, blue or green state) clicking, my Nostromo will lock onto one of these spam macros and will not stop spamming it when I release the button. It's a simple fix, all I have to do is press whatever button it is spamming again and it will stop spamming.

I am wondering if anyone else who uses the Nostromo has had this problem and if they figured out a way to fix it.

Thanks for all your help guys. I love this community, it's so helpful! :)

This problem has been solved. I am no longer playing around with the Linux Nostromo drivers as they are buggy and hard to use.

I have switched to Pystromo. This is a program created by Raumkraut located here.

https://launchpad.net/pystromo

I have got my Nostromo running flawlessly with this program and will be writing up a tutorial a some point in the near future on how to install and use this program.
