I'd like to set up my ubuntu server to receive an incoming call on it's modem, and share the server's internet connection with the dialing in computer. Is this possible? How difficult would it be?

I've been messing around with Ubuntu for a month or two now, but I'm still somewhat of a newbie. Years of computer experience, just not in linux.

The eventual plan is to be able to tether my dell mini to my bluetooth cell phone, and dial into my network for net access. Essentially the server would function as an ISP to one computer over dialup.

Thanks for any help or advice.

I suspect it's possible. My (Freesco) router has the ability to be a dial-in router. From there, it doesn't seem to much of a stretch to imagine it connected to another (ubuntu) machines set up to share internet connection. It might be easier to use the Ubuntu box for the whole thing - I'm not familiar with it's dial-in features.
