Yes, I am very new in the Linux environment. I have succeded in installing gtkwifi (at least i think so), and I am able to start the applet by typing "gtkwifi run-in-window" in the console. But shouldn't it be possible to move the little button to the Gnome toolbar?

I think the user blu.gecko had the same "problem" (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=77835), but figured out the solution... Please tell me what to do :)

Thanks!

Yep, that's just what I needed. :D
GTK Wifi sure seems to be a whole lot nicer than wifi-radar.
Thanks alot!

You wouldn't be chance know how do completely remove wifi-radar? I removed it by apg-get remove, but still when i shut down the computer i get a message saying "Shutting down wifi-radar daemon" (or something alike)... ?
