Hi. I recently reinstalled ubuntu and when i would open up folders containing images, they would have a preview. well when i told rhythmbox to search my entire harddrive for music, this somehow caused all my images to look like the attached link. I would like to have previews again and when i try to access them for putting icons with applications, none appear. thank you for any help provided.

when i would open up folders containing images, they would have a preview.

Open System-Preferences-File Management (If you can't find it, right-click Applications, Choose "Edit Menus", browse to "System-Preferences" and place a check mark next to "File Management"; close, and it should now appear in the menu)

Click on the "Preview" tab, and toggle settings under "Other previewable files", or set them as you feel suitable.
