Hi

I'm a relative newb to linux and this is my first post on ubuntuforums. Finding sofware that I need is not a given for me.

I have been trying to install syscalltrack for two days now and I'm out of ideas (maybe it won't ever run on 2.6.* kernel). So I'm looking for a similar tool that can monitor system calls and preferably edit the return from those system calls.
I was hoping there was a tool similar to holodeck available for windows, but I've not been able to find it.

This is for software security testing and debugging.

Any software you can think of is appreciated.

thanks!

I'm not sure if you can compile this software, afte all the last time it was updated was in 2003.

You may want to get in contact with these guys:

to see if there has been any progress since 2003. They do still seem to exist.
