I plug in my ipod, and it automounts to /media/IPOD. The ipod screeen shows the "do not disconnect" screen, and I can browse the files on my ipod.
But it won't come up in amarok or gtkpod. It seems as though it just mounts it as a usb drive and not an ipod.
by the way, it's a 2 generation nanao, 4gb. Just restored on a windows computer so it is fw 1.62.
