When I send or receive a message with Kmail, anything that looks remotely like a URL (http://[...] or www.[...], etc) automatically gets displayed as a clickable link. I had always assumed that other mail clients performed a similar conversion, but people (Windows users, sadly) have been telling me that they're just getting plain text and have to cut and paste any links I send them.

Clearly the Windows email client isn't intelligent enough to convert these to clickable links, but presumably there must be some way I can send people links that DO display this way? I don't want to do stupid things like sending HTML; is there some way to configure Kmail to send links in a format Windows clients understand?
