I have a friend with XP who I have helped over the phone to get Lifecam working. She wants to see herself before sending a send webcam request. How can she do that?

I assumed that I didn't understand the question as nobody has answered.

I would have thought that the software that came with the Lifecam would enable you to monitor it. If this is not the case then how did you confirm it was working?

Apologies if my assumption was right, and I don't understand the question.

fiddledd is quite correct. There should be a program called Microsoft LifeCam in the Start Menu entry of the same name. This should bring up a small program that allows you to view your webcam image and edit various settings and effects. =)

Thanks xeriouxi and fiddledd. I'll have her check it.
