I have a card on the way to install on this comeputer. It is a XPS 420. For some reason there are no ports other than for the monitor and several ubs.
I have an old but very good HP 712c desk jet printer that uses the 25 pin paralell port (included on this card). I have been assured by HP that this is supported by Vista and I am sure that Ubuntu supports the printer. Niether will "see" the printer hooked up through a usb 25 pin adapter cable.
Am I going to have any problem with this card and Ubuntu that anyone knows of? Do I need to get any lib files?
I hope that MS does not have a cow over this addition to the computer, but am about to do away with MS completely anyway.
