If you wanna create a DVD Video disc then pop into www.getdeb.net and download DeVeDe... That'll do the job nicely...

Note: Burn final .iso at low speed to make sure it works in all dvd players...

I discovered devede.
I am capturing video from a VHS using VLC streaming.
I also found out you want to save the stream as mpeg-PS file codec in VLC which is an mpeg2 dvd type format.

I am using devede right now. It is writing out an iso file and it is taking hours of time. It adjusted the disc size but I wonder if the video quality will be low. I took to mpeg files, a 4.3 + 1.8 gb so it has 2 titles and it is compressing down to fit on a 4.7gb single layer dvd+rw disc.

Do dvd players recognize dvd+r dl discs?

Can devede write out an iso file that can burn to a dvd dual layer disk?
Or, does it just always use a 4.7gb single layer dvd?
