VLC player as TV watcher with channels

found this. Has any of you looked into setting up VLC as a TV channel changer connected to an OTA digital tuner card?

I have a videoh! pci avc-2010 adaptec capture card that I am able to view and record TV from using VLC.

no, but I've done this with mplayer and Kaffeine using a channels.conf file and it works fine. I would guess VLC wouldn't be that hard to do either. Looking at that post - myth can run in windowed mode pretty easily using the -geometry option.

I am getting a cats eye vbox 3560 next week and will see what I can do and post back.

well unfortunately the cats eye 3560 has no linux support yet.

but I run it on another pc with XP.
the software I use is watchHDTV or GBPVR
And I use nvidia codecs or dscaler
