Maybe this is obvious, but it occurred to me. You don't pay Microsoft a penny, right? It's not like some other companies that buy a laptop loaded with windows and then install Linux on top... right?

The reason I ask is (obviously) I don't want to give any of my money to Microsoft.

They buy bare bones laptops load Linux on them and ship them to you under the system 76 name. No windows involved.
