Places pull down in panel

I know how to add or remove items from the 'Application' '& 'System' menus on the top panel but how do you do the same in the "places" menu?

You can use the Nautilus file manager's Bookmarks menu to add and delete items from the Places menu. Click on one of your "places" to open Nautilus. From there, use the Bookmarks menu to edit the Places menu
