when i get the logon graphics screen, the text in the options (bottom left) are 'hard to read'; the font is all squashed up and 'fuzzy'
If i select options > KDE (for example) the confirmation text is also corrupt.
if i stay with gnome, and login as root (i know i shouldn't) the warning box is also 'fuzzy'.
however, once the desktop is loaded, all is fine again.
What going on?
What graphics driver is being used prio to the desktop, and how do i confirm that its the correct one.
