Custom default desktop environment configuration

Is anyone aware of a way to impose my current desktop environment configuration and render that as default for all new accounts or users?

do you mean like style/appearance? wallpaper etc?

edit: i think there is a way - you'd have to copy the relevant files into /etc/skel. There may be an easier graphical way, but i don't know it off the top of my head.
