I have an operating system, and OS if you will. We'll call that OS "X" for arguments sake... catch my drift??? I have a .vmdk file of this OS that runs fine (albeit kind of slow) in VMWare, but I can't for the life of me make it work in VirtualBox which is a MUCH better virtualization program than VMWare. From what I understand .vmdk files are currently supported "oob" on Vbox, and it recognizes the file just fine. I've tried both using the .vmdk file, and I followed a tutorial here on the Ubuntu forums for how to convert a .vmdk to .vdi, and I get to the point where it starts loading and then virtualbox just closes the window. Any suggestions? Is mac OS X supported at all by virtualbox? Seeing as installing Mac OS X on any system other than a Mac is in violation of Mac's EULA, and yadda yadda yadda...

Virtualbox works very well when it works, but it doesn't work with all OS versions. When all else fails, use VMware.
