Sabrent USB WIFI - Can't stay connected for more than a few minutes

I have a Sabrent USB WIFI adapter, which worked in previous version of Ubuntu perfectly. I now run in 64 bit 8.04 Ubuntu, and my wireless adapter can't stay connected to my router for more than 5 minutes. I've tried manual connections and resetting my router, but after a few minutes of activity I need to unplug my adapter and plug it back in to connect again. It will ask me for my WEP key every time as well.

Any ideas on how I can stay connected?
