battlefield 2 Server

semi-newbie to linux.
I am attempting to setup a bf2 server on my LAN. I have totally exhausted forum searches and google searches on how to get this working. Here is the problem.

I've downloaded and installed: bf2-linuxded-1.1.2484.0
first error I recieved had to do with libstdc++. I synaped it and got past it.
second error was Illegal Instruction (core dumped)
-some bf2 forum said to update gcc so i synaped that.
third and final error is "illegal Instruction"

any help is greatly appreciated.

I know this was posted 6 days ago. But I am having the exact same problem. I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this.
