I installed ubuntu on my laptop and i have it dual boot with vista. But i don 't use it at all and i want the 20gb i gave it back for vista. How do i get the boot manager back to the one for vista without any vista Cd's. I was never given any and everything Ive seen n Google says i need them.

Do you have a recovery partition? (that's the new way some manufacturers get around not providing a recovery disk)
If you do you can boot into that and enter the fixmbr command.

yeah i do and i just tried using it and it won't let me load up the recovery page. Is there a program i can download that will do it, or some boot disk that i can use to have it fix it. Can i use ubuntu to do it i have the install disk still.
