if you have acrobat installed go to an image editor and select print, there should be an option to print to pdf ;-)

you can go to file and there should be 3 print related options, page setup, print preview, and print. you goto page setup and adjust what you want to fix the view, and you can check how it would look as a pdf with print preview, then you use print and select print to pdf to make the final product

May I ask why you need to convert a bitmap image into a document presentation format? Note that the PDF will be probably the same size as the Bitmap image, because all it's doing is embedding the file into a PDF document. It might convert it to JPEG to give you a smaller file, but you don't need PDF in order to do that.

well I think you can do that by opening the bmp with MS Office or OpenOffice and then save the new file as pdf. MS Office has a free plugin for saving documents as pdf
