The title says it all: why is the next link in the forums the smallest, when it's undoubtly one of the most used in the navigation link strip?
Suggestion: Change the tiny ">" link with a "Next" or "Next >" link. It will make the navigation easier for lots of people.

Because its enough.
Every forum i've visited no matter if its based on vbulletin or phpbb or anything else, had a similar size of the next link.
Most people are used to it and changing it might get the opposite of what you want.

Actually, it's really not enough. It's tiny and a pain in the butt to "aim."
Same goes for the "last post" version in the forum and thread indexes: there's a whole line of text there, like "16 minutes ago >>" and yet the ONLY part that is actually linked is the teeny >> arrows at the end. Why? Make the entire thing hotlinked so surfing threads isn't like trying to win a qupie doll at the carnival.

There's a forum for you to examine. And "Next" is much more discoverable than just ">>".
