Model FL91 -- Nothing works but power light

Have Model FL91 purchased in May of 2008.

Haven't used for about 5 days.

When I took it out of the case and plugged it in tonight, with or without AC current plugged in, the blue power light comes on for about 10 seconds, no sounds of fan or hard drive spinning up, and light goes off. Nothing happens on monitor at all.

Has been treated very well, not dropped, handled roughly in any way, and not kept anywhere where it would get hot.

Would love to know how to get it working again ASAP.

First, remove the battery and find a different ac adapter to test with. This will verify it's not the adapter.

If it is the adapter contact me at support. If your still under warranty (which I think you probably are) we can replace it. If not, you can buy one at a local retailer.

If it is not the ac adapter, we can try resetting the cmos. You can contact me at support(at)system76(dot)com for instructions.

Also, you may want to try re-seating your hard drive and memory cards. Make sure the battery and ac adapter are removed before doing this. Contact me at support for more detailed instructions.
